Today, the Class 9th Arts Evening Shift students, under the guidance of their subject teacher Ms. Ayesha Hashmi, successfully completed their Home Economics practicals based on the updated FBISE syllabus.
The focus was on FOOD & NUTRITION (PRACTICAL), emphasizing cooking from the Basic Food Groups:
Milk and milk products
Meat, fish, chicken
Vegetables & fruits
Cereals & pulses
Egg recipes prepared today included
poached eggs,
scrambled eggs,
fried/sunny side up eggs, and vegetable omelettes, all served with toasted bread and tea, alongside stuffed parathas.
Students also made dishes like Kheer, Salads, and Chicken Karahi.
The event was graced by Principal Prof. Aaliya Durrani and Head of Evening Shift Ms. Sara Asghar. The students put great effort into preparing nutritious and beautifully presented dishes according to their assigned food groups.
